Teberah's impact extends beyond the healthcare sector, as she is actively involved in her community and various professional organizations. She is a dedicated member of the Michigan State University Alumni & Black Alumni Associations, the Michigan Nurses Association, and the professional minority nursing sorority Chi Eta Phi Inc. Her commitment to nurturing future leaders is further demonstrated by her role as a proud mother to Amiya Alexander, President of Amiya's Mobile Dance Academy and a distinguished alumna of New York University.
